The IWK Telethon for Children on CTV is an annual fundraiser for the IWK Health Centre, which provides quality care to women, children, youth and families in the Maritime provinces and beyond.

Last year, the IWK Telethon celebrated 30 years - raising a record-breaking total of $6,154,816 million, thanks to the generosity of Maritime donors.

Funds raised through the IWK Telethon help support the most urgent patient care needs at the IWK Health Centre.

CTV staff work year-round to prepare for the 24-hour broadcast, which come to viewers live from four locations around the Maritime region - Halifax, Sydney, Saint John and Charlottetown.

Along with our staff, there are hundreds of volunteers, organizations and donors who work tirelessly to make the IWK Telethon a success.

The 31st annual IWK Telethon for Children will broadcast live on CTV on May 30 and May 31, 2015.
