DARTMOUTH – A 75-year-old man from Dartmouth is in hospital after waking to find two men in his home early Sunday morning.
Police say at 2:38 a.m., the man woke up to noise in his home on Bonita Drive. When he confronted the suspects, they caused injuries to his head and face.
The man’s wife was also home during the incident, but she was not hurt.
Police say several firearms were stolen from the home.
The suspects then fled on foot and have not yet been found.
The investigation is ongoing.
