MCLEODS, N.B. -- Police in northern New Brunswick have identified the body of a man found last week along the shore of the Restigouche River near McLeods.

The body of Randolph Mitchell of the Listuguj First Nation in Quebec was found Nov. 2 close to his abandoned vehicle.

Foul play has been ruled out as a cause of death.

The 51-year-old had been reported missing Oct. 12.

DNA samples were used confirm the man's identity.
