The RCMP believe the body of a missing man has been found in Nova Scotia’s Pictou County.
Police say hikers found the vehicle of a missing person in the MacLellan's Mountain area Sunday afternoon.
Officers found a man’s body inside the vehicle. His identity has not been officially confirmed, but police believe the body is that of Stephen Robert Willemse.
Willemse, 41, was last seen in MacLellan’s Brook on July 6. He was reported missing on July 9.
Police say his family has been notified.
The medical examiner’s office is assisting in the investigation.
