Police say a 67-year-old man who had been missing in the woods in Cape Breton has been found.
RCMP say police and ground search and rescue teams found the 67-year-old West Bay man on Thursday, after he had been reported missing the night before.
Police say the man was found in “fair health” but was unable to walk out of the woods unassisted.
As of Thursday afternoon, a doctor and paramedic were treating the man and preparing to transport him to hospital.
Police say they were called around 8 p.m. on Wednesday to help find the man, who had entered the woods near West Bay with a 67-year-old woman to look at property.
Police say they became disoriented and separated, with the woman later managing to leave the woods and call 911.
