The family and friends of a missing Halifax man are growing increasingly concerned about his well-being.

Taylor Samson, a 22-year-old physics student at Dalhousie University, was last seen at his residence in the 6000 block of South Street at 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

His friends say he was going for a walk when he left his home but he never came back and hasn’t been heard from since.

Samson was reported missing to police around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

His loved ones are especially concerned because he left his car, keys and wallet at home.

Now they are passing out posters in the hopes someone will come forward with information.

“We printed out 1,000 or so leaflets and now we’re just trying to get them out in as many public places as possible to get the word out,” says Samson’s friend, Ryan White.

Samson is described as a white man with brown eyes and short brown hair. He is six-foot-five and weighs 210 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a tan T-shirt, brown shirts and brown boat shoes.

Anyone with information on Samson’s whereabouts is asked to contact police.
