Crime Stoppers: 30 Years in Nova Scotia

This year, Crime Stoppers is marking its 30th anniversary in Nova Scotia.

Over the past three decades, Crime Stoppers tipsters have helped to solve 5,713 cases. More than $5 million of stolen property has been returned to the rightful owners and tipsters have helped police seize more than $12 million in illegal drugs.

Their goal is to make our communities a safer place to live, conduct business and raise our children.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a theft which happened in Bedford, N.S.

This crime happened at a pharmacy in Bedford on January 27, 2017. The three suspects positioned themselves behind the victim to observe her pin number during the transaction. As the victim was leaving the store one of the suspects distracted the victim while the second slipped his hand in her bag and took her wallet.  The suspects bank account was later accessed.
