New Brunswick RCMP are investigating a hit-and-run incident that left a cyclist seriously injured in Berry Mills.
Police say the cyclist was travelling the wrong way on the exit ramp connecting Homestead Road to Berry Mills Road at 9:30 a.m. Saturday when he was hit by a vehicle travelling towards him.
Police say the vehicle kept going and the cyclist was taken to the Moncton Hospital with serious injuries.
The vehicle is described as being a dark blue, mid-sized car with white doors. Investigators say there is likely considerable damage on the driver’s side and the side mirror may be broken.
A description of the driver was not provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
