The RCMP say they are treating the death of an elderly Dawsonville, N.B. man as a homicide.
Police were called to a residence on Restigouche River Road shortly before 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
They found the body of 77-year-old Emerson Main inside the home.
Police say an autopsy has been conducted and they are treating Main’s death as a homicide.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
