HALIFAX -- Police say a 76-year-old woman smashed her car through a storefront in Halifax after losing control of the vehicle.
Officers say the woman was parking her car at a lot in the Chain Lake Drive at about 3 p.m.
They say she somehow lost control and went into the front of a Dollarama store.
The driver was not injured and a woman shopping in the store was taken to hospital for treatment of a minor ankle injury.
Police say there was extensive damage to both the vehicle and the store, but they don't expect to lay any charges.
