Three men and two teenage boys are facing a rash of charges after they allegedly invaded a home in Lower Sackville Friday night.

Halifax District RCMP say a man woke up to four men pointing guns at him. The victim was beaten up and assaulted with a weapon. He was taken hospital as a result.

Police say an 18-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident later that day. Police then arrested the four others Friday night.

Jacob Lilly, 18, of Halifax, and a 17-year-old boy from Tantallon, N.S., are facing over 11 charges, including robbery with a firearm, possession of a weapon with a dangerous purpose, and aggravated assault.

Eighteen-year-old Roland Wesley and a 17-year-old boy Middle Sackville, N.S., are facing eight similar charges.

All four have been remanded into custody and will appear in court on Monday.

Another 18-year-old man from Lower Sackville has been charged with assault and was later released.

He will appear in court on July 13.
