Fredericton Police say the Brookside Mall has reopened after a pair of alleged threats against a business forced the mall to close Thursday evening.

Police say a call came in around 6 p.m. from an anonymous person, threatening to burn down the Atelka Call Centre, which is located in the mall.

About an hour later, another call came in from someone saying there was a bomb in the call centre.

More than 300 people were told to leave the mall as the bomb squad scoured the building.

Police spent several house clearing the building but say they found no threat.

The mall reopened Friday morning.

Police say they have no suspects at this time and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
