A Fredericton man is facing a list of drug and weapons related charges after police seized a large quantity of narcotics last week.

RCMP say Nicholas Bain, 19, appeared in Fredericton provincial court on Feb. 27, one day after he was arrested by a multi-agency team of police investigators.

At the time of the arrest, police say they seized a weapon, crystal meth, LSD, methamphetamine, methylone, cocaine, and marijuana.

The charges against Bain include seven counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, weapons related charges, resisting arrest and two counts of breaching probation.

Bain remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on March 13.
