A five-year-old girl was taken to the IWK Hospital in Halifax after being struck by a car Monday morning.
Halifax Regional Police were called to the 5900 block of Inglis Street around 10:40 a.m.
Witnesses say the girl ran into the road and was hit by the car.
Police believe the girl suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Charges against the driver are not anticipated.
