A Halifax man is facing a slew of charges after a string of alleged robberies and attempted robberies.

The 40-year-old man was arrested without incident in the 2100 block of Barrington Street Monday evening.

Police say the man was wanted in connection with two attempted robberies at Subway restaurants, an ATM robbery and one at a convenience store.

He is facing five charges of armed robbery and two charges of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

Police say he was held in custody and is due to appear in court on Tuesday.

The incidents remain under investigation.
