HALIFAX - Police have identified the victim of a drug-related shooting in Halifax on Friday.

Halifax Regional Police say Corey Duane Lucas, 36, died after being shot in an apartment at 2711 Clifton Street around 8:40 p.m.

A second man, also in his 30s, was taken to hospital, but is expected to recover from his injuries.

Police are searching for two men between the ages of 20 and 30 in connection with the homicide.

Officers say the suspects were seen fleeing the apartment building on foot towards St. Albans Street and were both described as wearing athletic clothing.

Police say investigators have determined the incident is drug-related.
