Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly stole $8,000 worth of jewelry from the Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth.
Police say the man was looking at a gold chain and a diamond at a store on the first floor of the mall when he allegedly fled with the items.
The chain is worth $2,500 while the diamond is worth $5,500.
Police have released photos of the suspect in the hopes of identifying him.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with dark facial hair. He was wearing a dark toque, blue sweater or shirt, faded blue jeans and heavy steel-toed boots at the time of the incident.
He drove away in a newer model Toyota Corolla.
