Halifax Regional Police are trying to identify two men who allegedly asked a 9-year-old boy to get in their car Friday afternoon.

Police say the boy was walking in the area of Jubilee Road around 12:20 p.m. when the car pulled up beside him. He told police the passenger asked him to get inside the vehicle.

The boy refused and ran to a nearby school to notify an adult.

The driver is described as a biracial man in his late 20s or early 30s, with brown curly hair and a brown goatee. He was wearing a baseball hat and a navy blue sweater with the hood up.

The passenger is described as an Asian man in his late 20s or early 30s. He was wearing a baseball hat and a blue hooded sweater with grey sleeves and grey hood, which was pulled up at the time of the incident.

The vehicle is described as a black four-door sedan.
