Halifax Regional Police are investigating another robbery at the Needs convenience store on Chebucto Road.

Police responded to the store at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say a man entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. He told the clerk he had a weapon, although police say no weapon was seen.

The suspect fled the store with a quantity of cash.

Police searched for the suspect with the assistance of a K9 unit, but they failed to locate the suspect.

He is described as a white man with blonde hair worn in a ponytail. He is five-foot-five inches tall and was wearing a red jacket and jeans.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.

The Needs on Chebucto Road has been robbed at least six times this year.
