Halifax Regional Police are searching for a suspect after a teenage boy was shot in the hand Thursday evening.
Police responded to an apartment building on Crystal Drive in Dartmouth around 11:30 p.m.
Officers found a 17-year-old boy inside an apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand.
He was taken to the Dartmouth General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say no one has been arrested and the victim isn’t cooperating with investigators.
A suspect was seen running from the area. He is described as a slim black man who is about five-foot-four. He was wearing black jogging pants and a white hoodie at the time.
