RCMP in the Halifax area are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 23-year-old woman.
Alyson Provost was last seen around 11:30 a.m. on May 23, after leaving a home in Lakeside, N.S.
Provost lives in East Dover and police say it is unusual for her not to keep in contact with her friends and family.
She is described as a white woman with long, brown hair to her waist. She is five-feet-two inches tall and weighs roughly 110 pounds.
Police say she was last seen carrying a white purse and wearing a long-sleeve, white shirt with ‘Aeropostale' written in silver, along with jeans and pink flip flops. She has tattoos on her back and leg.
The RCMP are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact their local police or RCMP detachment.
