TATAMAGOUCHE, N.S. -- The Canadian Red Cross says fire has destroyed a home in Tatamagouche, N.S.
The organization says a couple and their two children were not at home Monday, but two family pets died in the blaze.
A local fire official says the fire broke out around 10 a.m.
So far no cause has been determined.
Meanwhile, a woman and three young children in Bridgewater escaped a fire that damaged their home on Saturday.
The Red Cross says it has arranged for emergency lodging and meals for the family.
