HALIFAX - Students from across Nova Scotia are being asked to help create a cyberbullying awareness campaign.

Education Minister Ramona Jennex issued a statement today saying she wants students to submit videos, music and other art to raise awareness about the problem.

Jennex says she wants the submissions within the next six weeks.

Students can send their work to the Unlike Cyberbullying website at unlikecyberbullying.ca.

The submissions will be judged, and the student or group with the best idea will work with the province to create a public service announcement that will run during the 2012-13 school year.

In addition to the website, posters will be placed in schools to let students know how they can participate.
