A man has been airlifted to a Halifax hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Nova Scotia’s Highway 103.

Police and emergency crews responded to the crash at Exit 4 in the Hubley area shortly after 3 p.m. Friday.

They say a car travelling outbound collided with a parked vehicle, causing the outbound car to flip and land on its roof.

The driver suffered serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to hospital.

Highway 103 outbound was shut down for about an hour but it has since re-opened.

Police are still investigating.
