A 26-year-old man is in police custody after a stabbing in Dartmouth Saturday night.
Shortly after 12:00 a.m. police were called to Leaman Dr. where they found a 56-year-old man who was stabbed in the lower jaw.
He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
About 12 hours later, police arrested a suspect on Primrose St. in Dartmouth.
Charges are pending but police say this is not a random act and the suspect in known to police.
