A 47-year-old man is facing a trafficking charge following an arrest in northern New Brunswick on Thursday.
Northeast District RCMP say Pascal Chagnon of Peiti-Pocher, N.B., was arrested in a hunting and fishing club in Balmoral, N.B., as a result of an investigation.
During the arrest, officers seized what was believed to be cocaine.
Chagnon appeared in Campbellton provincial court on Monday to face a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
He remains in custody and will appear in court again on Dec. 5.
