MIRAMICHI, N.B. -- Police in New Brunswick are investigating a car crash that has claimed the life of a 22-year-old man.
The RCMP in Richibucto say Collin Polchies of Elsipogtog was killed in the accident Thursday that involved four vehicles and injured five people.
The crash occurred on Highway 11, north of Kouchibouguac.
Three people were treated at the scene and two were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Polchies was taken to Miramichi Regional Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist is trying to determine the cause of the crash.
