A man wanted in connection with a murder in Edmonton has been arrested on Vancouver Island.
A Canada-wide arrest was issued last week for 26-year-old Austin Southworth, on charges of second-degree murder, possession of a dangerous weapon and robbery.
He was wanted for the slaying of 37-year-old Brad MacDonald, whose body was found on the outskirts of Edmonton in April.
Police say Southworth turned himself in to RCMP in Campbell river yesterday morning.
