The RCMP say they have identified a man who approached a 15-year-old girl in Beaver Bank, N.S. Monday morning.
Police say the girl was walking along Davis Drive around 8 a.m. when the man drove up alongside her. He tried to speak to the girl through the window but she ignored him and he drove away.
Police said Tuesday that they were trying to identify the man.
The man has since been identified and investigators have spoken with him. Police say they have determined the man simply thought the teen was someone else.
