Two people have been arrested in connection with a home invasion and theft in Burnt Church, N.B.
Police allege each suspect stole a vehicle from the scene and were involved in separate collisions early Thursday morning.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene and a 25-year-old woman was taken to hospital.
Scott Ward is facing charges of break and enter, theft, theft of a vehicle, dangerous driving, failure to stop for police and resisting arrest.
The Esgenoopetitj First Nation man was remanded into custody and is due back in court on Sept. 22.
There is no word on charges against the Esgenoopetitj First Nation woman, but police say the investigation is ongoing and further charges are possible.
