A New Brunswick man who was reported missing has been found dead about two days after his vehicle left the road in the Petersville Hill area.

Police say the accident scene was discovered today in a wooded area on Highway 7, although they believe the crash occurred sometime Tuesday.

Investigators believe the man’s vehicle left the road, crashed through a moose fence and rolled over. They say the vehicle came to rest upside down in a wooded area and was not visible from the main highway.

The victim, a 52-year-old Saint John, man had been reported missing.

The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of his family.

Police say a collision reconstructionist is assisting RCMP in the investigation.
