SCOTS BAY, N.S. - A Nova Scotia man who became lost while hunting in the woods yesterday has been found safe.

RCMP say searchers found the 60-year-old Port Williams man at around 2:30 this morning near Blomidon Provincial Park, about three kilometres from where he started his day.

Police say they received a 911 call late yesterday afternoon after the man and his dog became lost in the dark in the Scots Bay area.

They were in contact with the man while the search was underway.

Sergeant Al LeBlanc says the man was not hurt, adding that his dog is also OK.
