The Nova Scotia RCMP say a 25-year-old man who disappeared from a special care home in October has been located.

Landon Webb, who has an intellectual disability, was living at the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre when he disappeared on Oct. 15.

At the time, his parents said he was about to be discharged from the facility and knew he would be moving to a small option home.

They had expressed concern over his well-being and appealed to the public for help in finding him.

Police said Wednesday that Webb has been located after contacting police and his family.
