The family of a missing 13-year-old girl says she has been found safe.

Mya Quinn’s family said she was last seen on Prince Street in Lower Sackville, N.S., walking away from A.J. Smeltzer Junior High School, around 11 a.m. Friday.

Her family posted details of her disappearance on Facebook and asking for the public’s help in locating her.

“Our family is completely broken and turned upside down worrying about her,” said Quinn’s father in the post.

He updated the post Monday, saying his daughter had been found safe and sound in Lower Sackville around 1 p.m.
