OROMOCTO, N.B. - New Brunswick's Progressive Conservative Party continues to talk about its plans to create jobs in the energy and natural resource sectors in its bid to win next month's election.
Premier David Alward announced last week the creation of an Oil, Gas and Mining Training Centre for the province.
Alward also signed an agreement with British Columbia that would allow New Brunswick to recognize trade apprenticeships completed in B.C.
If they form government again in September, the Tories say they would also establish a Resource Future Fund to funnel shale gas royalties toward lowering the cost of post-secondary education.
New Brunswick voters go to the polls on Sept. 22.
