One of the men charged in the murder of 21-year-old Laura Jessome has pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact.

Robert Matheson entered the plea on Tuesday in Supreme Court in Sydney, N.S. He’ll be sentenced in December.

It’s been nearly two years since 50-year-old Matheson and another man, Brian Deruelle, were charged with being accessories after the fact in Jessome’s death.

Jessome’s body was found in a hockey bag in the Mira River in May 2012.

Two men, Thomas Barrett and Morgan James MacNeil are charged with her murder.
