The RCMP say a suspect has been arrested in connection with a violent home invasion in Montague, P.E.I.
Police were called to the home around 7 a.m. Tuesday. They say a man forced his way into the home and assaulted the owner before fleeing the scene.
Police issued a statement Tuesday morning, asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect, who allegedly fled the scene in a burgundy car.
They say a man has since been arrested. There is no word on charges at this time.
