A 45-year-old Moncton man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an alleged hit-and-run.
RCMP responded to a parking lot on the corner of Killam Drive and Moore Street in Moncton shortly after 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
They say a 31-year-old Moncton man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police believe he was run over by a vehicle in the parking lot.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Clarke Edward Hannah. He was arrested by police in Edmundston around 3 p.m. Monday.
Hannah is due to appear in Moncton provincial court on Tuesday.
The incident remains under investigation and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
