The new Nova Star ferry which sails between Yarmouth and Portland, Maine is attracting a lot more passengers.
More than 20,000 tickets have been sold during the month of August, making for an average of 652 passengers a day. These numbers are 55 per cent more than July and in line with the company’s goal of 500 to 700 passengers per day in peak season.
The company attributes the increase to positive feedback on social media, marketing, new rates, and better weather.
