Police in New Brunswick are investigating a late-night hit-and-run involving a speed boat.

Saint-Léonard RCMP say sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Sunday on Lac Baker, a speed boat crashed into the back of a pontoon boat and left the scene.

The pontoon boat sustained extensive damage but none of the four people on it were injured.

Police are asking for help identifying the speed boat’s driver.
