The RCMP say speed may have been a factor in a single-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a 19-year-old man in Neguac, N.B. Wednesday evening.
Police say the man lost control of the vehicle on L. Allain Road, causing it to roll. Police say he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
The man was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
His passenger, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the incident remains under investigation but speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
