RCMP officers in Minto, N.B. are asking for the public’s help as they investigate an assault that left a man injured in June.

Police say two men were involved in an altercation in front of the Minto Centennial Arena around 2:30 a.m. on June 29.

When officers arrived, they found a large crowd had gathered around a 19-year-old man who was lying in the street, injured.

The man was taken to hospital and later released.

No arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.

Investigators spoke to several witnesses and believe someone may have recorded the incident. They are asking anyone with video footage of the assault to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
