HALIFAX -- A panel reviewing Nova Scotia's education system is looking for public input as it examines a range of issues including curriculum, technology in schools and how long students should be in class.
The panel led by Myra Freeman, a former lieutenant governor and teacher in the province, has posted a survey online where people can submit their concerns and provide suggestions on improving the school system.
The deadline for submissions is June 13.
The panel's review is expected to include short- and long-term changes, some of which could be introduced later this year.
It is the first time in 25 years that Nova Scotia has conducted such a review.
