The RCMP are looking for a suspect in connection with an attempted child abduction in Eastern Passage, N.S.
Police say two girls were waiting at a bus stop at the corner of Ashwood Court and Rosewood Lane around 6:45 a.m. Thursday when they were approached by a man in a truck.
The man asked the girls if they had seen his dog. When they replied that they hadn’t, police say the man asked the girls if they would get in his truck and help him find it.
The girls declined and the man drove away.
Police say he was driving a small, burgundy pickup truck.
The suspect is described as a man in his 50s with greyish hair and stubble on his chin.
He was wearing a ball cap, blue jeans and navy sweater.
Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is asked to contact the RCMP.
