Four people have been forced from their apartments in Bouctouche, N.B., after a fire around 7 p.m. Friday.

The fire was contained to one apartment in the four-unit building on Irving Boulevard and no one was injured.

The Canadian Red Cross is assisting the woman whose apartment was damaged by the fire, and has provided housing for another woman who lived in the building. A man from the third unit is staying with a relative. The fourth apartment was vacant at the time.

A family of five has been displaced after a fire Friday evening near Bridgewater, N.S.

No one was injured in the fire but the home was destroyed. The home is located near Hirtle Lake, just outside of Bridgewater. 

The parents and their three daughters, aged seven to 15, are staying with friends.
