An eight-year member with the RCMP is facing charges of uttering threats and mischief.
Shawn Donald James Greene, 36, was arrested without incident Wednesday after Richmond County RCMP received a complaint of a RCMP officer threatening another man.
He appeared in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Thursday and was released on conditions.
Cst. Greene, who is currently stationed in St. Peter’s Detachment, is now suspended without pay.
He will appear in court again on Nov. 4.
