HALIFAX -- Police in Halifax are investigating the death of a 32-year-old man who was struck and killed as he walked on a highway ramp Thursday.
They say the accident occurred in the northbound on-ramp to Highway 102 at Larry Uteck Drive.
The driver called 911 to report the accident at about 11:20 p.m.
He was treated by paramedics and released.
The pedestrian, who was from the Windsor area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The northbound lanes of Highway 102 were closed until 5:30 a.m.
