DARTMOUTH – Police in Halifax have identitified the man killed in a stabbing in Dartmouth Friday night.

Around 10:30 p.m., witnesses reported seeing three men fighting in the parking lot of 276 Windmill Rd. When police arrived, 28-year-old Daniel Michael Pellerin of Dartmouth had multiple stab wounds and was unconscious.

He was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Two suspects were last seen running Northbound on Windmill Rd. Police describe them as two white males wearing dark clothing.

Police say the incident is unrelated to the stabbing that occurred Friday afternoon on Wyse Rd that left one man injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
