A number of shots were fired at a car in the Spryfield area of Halifax Sunday night.
Police say it happened on Hartlen Avenue just before midnight.
A second vehicle in the area was also damaged but not by bullets.
The owner of the home where the car was parked was in the house at the time of the incident, but no one was injured.
Police do not believe this was a random act and are still investigating.
