RCMP in Kennetcook, Nova Scotia are investigating an attempted armed robbery at a pharmacy.
Around 4:20 Sunday afternoon a man wearing a mask entered the Kennetcook pharmacy with a metal pipe and passed a note to the clerk demanding drugs.
The pharmacist refused before being struck by the suspect, who then fled the pharmacy on foot.
Nothing was taken from the pharmacy and the pharmacist did not need medical attention.
RCMP now have a suspect in custody.
